This handheld meter is developed for accurate measurement for all light sources of plant growth. It measures PAR (Photosynthetically Active Radiation) flux in wavelength 400nm to 700nm. In Controlled Environment Agriculture (CEA), it is necessary for growers to measure light to avoid the risk of wasting energy or damaging their plants. So this PAR meter is ideal for Green house control, crop growth monitoring, plant factory, seed cultivation, Agrometeorological research, Ecological research, Environment surveillance.
PAR METER is able to measure the PPFD (Photosynthetic Photon Flux Density), you can accordingly adjust the distance between the light source and plants or use supplementary lighting to maintain the desired PPFD level.
